1. Cancellation Policy
1.1 You Can Cancel Anytime
You may cancel your Planify subscription at any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fees or penalties. We believe in providing value that makes you want to stay, not contracts that force you to.
1.2 How to Cancel
To cancel your subscription:
- Log into your Planify account
- Navigate to Settings → Subscription
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
Alternatively, you can contact us at contact@planifyapps.com and we'll process your cancellation within 24 hours.
1.3 What Happens After Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period
- You will continue to have full access to all features until the end of your paid period
- Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you decide to reactivate
- After 30 days of cancellation, your account will be downgraded to our free plan (if available) or archived
- No further charges will be made to your payment method
1.4 Immediate Account Closure
If you wish to close your account immediately and delete all data before the end of your billing period, please contact us at contact@planifyapps.com. Please note that immediate closure does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining paid period.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 No Refunds
All payments made to Planify are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for:
- Partial months of service
- Unused time on a subscription
- Cancellations made mid-billing cycle
- Dissatisfaction with the service
- Duplicate payments (see exception below)
- Downgrade refunds
- Lack of usage
2.2 Why No Refunds?
We operate on a subscription model with monthly or annual billing cycles. When you subscribe, you're paying for access to our service for the entire billing period. We incur costs (infrastructure, support, development) regardless of your usage level.
We encourage you to:
- Start with our free trial (if available) to test the service
- Begin with a monthly subscription before committing to annual
- Contact our support team if you have questions before subscribing
- Review our features and pricing carefully before purchasing
2.3 Exceptions to No-Refund Policy
We may provide refunds at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge(s)
- Service Unavailability: If our service was unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 consecutive hours) due to our technical issues, we may provide a pro-rated credit
- Unauthorized Charges: If you can demonstrate that charges were made without your authorization, we will investigate and may issue a refund
- Billing Errors: If we made a mistake in billing you (wrong amount, wrong plan, etc.), we will correct it and refund any overcharge
To request a refund under these exceptions, contact us at contact@planifyapps.com within 7 days of the charge with relevant details.
2.4 Refund Processing Time
If your refund request is approved under the exceptions listed above:
- We will process your refund within 5-7 business days of approval
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
- Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed
3. Billing Cycle and Renewals
3.1 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription rate.
3.2 Price Changes
If we change our subscription prices, we will notify you at least 30 days before your next renewal. The new price will apply to your next billing cycle. If you don't agree with the new price, you can cancel before the renewal date.
3.3 Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails, we will:
- Attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times over a 10-day period
- Send you email notifications about the failed payment
- Provide you an opportunity to update your payment method
- Suspend your account if payment is not received within the grace period
4. Downgrades and Upgrades
4.1 Downgrades
If you downgrade your subscription to a lower-tier plan:
- The downgrade will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle
- You will retain access to your current plan features until the end of the paid period
- No refunds or credits will be issued for the difference in price
- Some features may be disabled when the downgrade takes effect
4.2 Upgrades
If you upgrade your subscription to a higher-tier plan:
- The upgrade takes effect immediately
- You will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle
- Your next billing date remains the same
- You gain immediate access to all upgraded features
5. Data Retention After Cancellation
After you cancel your subscription:
- Your data is retained for 30 days in case you decide to reactivate
- You can export your data during this 30-day period
- After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted or anonymized
- We may retain some information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company (chargeback) instead of contacting us first:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
- We may terminate your account if the chargeback is found to be invalid
- You may be liable for any fees or costs we incur due to the chargeback
- This may affect your ability to use Planify services in the future
Please contact us first if you see a charge you don't recognize or believe is incorrect. We're happy to investigate and resolve any billing issues directly.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of Planify after changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
Remember
While we don't offer refunds, you can always cancel your subscription anytime with no penalties. Your access continues until the end of your paid period, giving you time to export your data and wrap up your work.
